Mikael Lovell launched in 2020 by Founder Madison John. The Mother's day cards was the Third collection released on May 2020 with 3 coloured cards and 3 lined illustrations. The Father's day Collection followed shortly in June with 4 coloured cards
Requested by a few customers, we finally included a Rastaman in the collections., another card that's hard to find. This has also become one of the best sellers in the Father's Day collection.
Another illustration that was created in 2019 when we were sketching for ideas. This was initially planned for The Birthday Collection but we wanted to thread carefully on the chosen illustrations as it can come out controversial. In the end we decided that there should be no issues with a Father and Daughter showing love. After all a bond between father and daughter is so precious and amazing.
Another requested illustration by a few customers, a woman with a head wrap. For this illustration we wanted to black beauty, empowerment and confidence to shine.
This image was inspired by a friend of mine who gave birth in Feb 2020.
A single mum who was previously told that she would struggle to conceive any child and this image was taken a few minutes after she gave birth. For the background I asked a few Mother's on their first thoughts and feelings the first time they held their child.
